[Abbey edi] We are delighted to be able to welcome you to the new Abbey edi e-commerce system. We are convinced that internet based communications represent the future of business and this system has been specifically developed to give you the opportunity to save both time and money.

Is it easy to use?

Absolutely - we aimed to create a system that was extremely easy to use, and we feel like we've done it! The main interface is graphical and aims to give you straightforward access to all the information you need from us.

What hardware do I need?

Not much! All you need is a PC with a modem.

Our recommended minimum spec is a Pentium 200 with 64mb RAM. Internet Explorer 4.01 software or better. 33.6k modem.

How much will it cost?

We are attempting to save you money by using our new system. Assuming no start-up costs, then the only cost to you will be local calls to the internet. For our non-local customers this should represent a significant saving over the normal fax or telephone call charges.

Are there any security issues?

On the Abbey system all data transfered over the internet is encrypted, so it is virtually impossible for someone to intercept your data and view it.

Logon to the system is controlled by username and is password protected. You can change your password at any time and in addition you will automatically be prompted to change your password after 30 days.
